MEET MC SNILLOW THE NEW VOICE OF HIP HOP
He took fans by surprise when he pioneered the new street slogan 'I STILL SEE NO CHANGE' which is a big blast on the present day government of Nigeria headed by APC political party. In a time where most people are scared to express their views due to the rigidity and undemocratic ways Nigerians are being governed with by President Buhari, MC Snillow still stands tall when it comes to criticizing and exposing the lies of the ruling class.
Following the awareness he has gained after dropping his two song- NIGERIA POLICE, and I STILL SEE NO CHANGE, many journalists started comparing him to the late FELA for his ability to go against all odds to say whatever he wants to say in his music and interviews.
As he gears up to drop his first international collaboration with the American rapper, RYDA EMPHAMOUS, We got to him over the phone to talk about his music, lifestyle, fashion, political views, future plans and personal life.
MUSIC
As a kid, MC Snillow could recall being exposed to hip hop music when he was six years old. His uncle manje taught him a few lines from the late BIG's popular song- hypnotize. Ever since then, mgbako chukwuma Snillow just wanted to rap. Having Jay z, Public Enemy, Biggie and Tupac as his rap icons, Snillow grew up to become a conscious rapper, and a punchline artist with a hardcore flavor. In his own words he stated, 'if your music doesn't address the reality of the day, am not listening'.
I guess, that's why he pays no attention to this modern day hip hop music where sex, drugs and money is being flaunted in videos and lyrics.
LIFESTYLE
MC Snillow seems to be a lay back individual but playful and likes to have fun. A big football fan as well, and a supporter of RANGERS FC coal city and ARSENAL FC London. He's definitely not the type of celebrity you see up in the club all night. When he is not busy, he is probably alone in his room pressing his phone or searching for news to read.
From our investigation, he takes pride in uplifting humanity. That explains why many have seen him empowering young people in various communities, and also doing works of charity.
FASHION
MC Snillow has very little interest in fashion though he told us that he is planning on giving the world kapon empire clothing. He rocks t-shirts and jeans to promote pop culture. But never the less, you will catch him rocking African traditional attires. While many are crazy about Gucci, Prada and all that, MC Snillow goes to beccia morphia fashion (@Becciamorphia_fashion) for his wears.
POLITICAL VIEWS
MC Snillow made it clear he belongs to no political party presently, but he has dreams of becoming the governor of his state. On the current state of the nation, he stated- 'Buhari is a failure. A president that can't afford to at least secure the lives of his people should resign instead of dreaming of coming back for a second term'.
FUTURE PLANS
'I want to succeed in doing the things I have been called to do by the most high God because I don't leave for myself but for he who made me. I also wish to keep making music, expand my brand, and keep giving back to the society because my life is nothing if people are not smiling'- MC Snillow.
PERSONAL LIFE
One of his fans on our page asked us to verify if he is single or not, and he replied- 'I like to keep things personal. So, I won't comment on that'.
